Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way they work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £27,668 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Manchester. (The role will be based at their Manchester office; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members if the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
As an Officer of Research, you will support research programmes and develop an evidence base concerning the cultural sector and the impact of public investment. You will also assist in managing ongoing research programmes and ensure Arts Council strategy and policy are informed by high-quality evidence.
To give you an idea of how this Officer, Research role would look and feel, these are some things you could expect to do:
- Help in commissioning research and managing research contracts
- Conduct primary and secondary research
- Provide analysis of research findings and share these with colleagues across the organisation
