This is a rare opportunity to take a creative role in a small but internationally-acclaimed arts organisation, with the potential to extend and develop.
They’re seeking a freelance potter to join the team at their new initiative, the revival of The Farmer’s Arms Inn in the Lake District. This is a key role based in our newly refurbished facility, working closely with Adam Sutherland (Director) and Tom Philipson (Workshop Manager): Creativity and making are the heart of The Farmer’s Arms project, and they are looking for someone who shares this vision and can help others join in.
The successful candidate will lead regular pottery classes and contribute to the making of diverse products for use in the pub and for sale in their shop and online. They also have an active group of drop-in amateur potters using the workshop casually, and the role will also include facilitating these sessions as required.
