The Community Team is looking for an experienced project manager to work on its pioneering Music in Mind music-dementia programme.
You will receive on-the-job training in all aspects of administrating the Music in Mind programme (a music-making project for older people with dementia) and working in the Community team, as well as any other training requirements identified during the 6-month term.
Administrating the Music in Mind programme and other community projects in Greater Manchester (Wigan, Oldham, Rochdale) and at our base in The Monastery in Gorton, Manchester, which means you will have to:
- Organise and schedule appointments for musicians and therapists, planning sessions and workshops
- Organise and schedule workshops with care homes and carers
- Write contracts for our musicians and music therapist team (using Mail Merge)
- Liaise with musicians and therapists (via phone and email)
- Liaise with care homes and carers (via phone and email)
- Write and send emails
- Keep our general filing system and musician database in order
- Order and prepare musical instruments for Music in Mind sessions
- Collect data surveys from care homes and carers
- Help the Community team with surveys
