Core Responsibilities
● Working with the Head of Festivals to enable festival partners to select and tour a strong programme of work each year that meets the artistic policy of Without Walls and the agenda of the individual festivals.
● Coordinating the logistics of network meetings, training sessions and other network related events.
● Contributing to preparation of meeting papers and minute taking where appropriate.
● Maintaining effective communication with festival partners, artists, Board members and other stakeholders.
● Gathering information for inclusion in the partner newsletter.
● Supporting the preparation and monitoring of contracts and grant agreements for partners, working closely with the Finance Team.
● Monitoring project budgets.
● Managing the audience engagement open call process and supporting festivals to deliver and evaluate their activities effectively.
● Contributing to analysis and findings from evaluation to identify key trends, outcomes, and recommendations for future development.
Experience and Skills
They don’t necessarily expect applicants to possess all the detailed knowledge and experience outlined, however, successful applicants are likely to have experience and skills in the following areas:
● Communication and collaboration. The role requires close work with staff, artists, and partner festivals. Strong communication skills, the ability to engage in open two-way discussions, and the ability to share information effectively are essential.
● Organisational planning. The role involves planning network meetings, coordinating training and managing budgets. Excellent organisational, planning, and project management skills are crucial.
● Partnership working. The role requires management of a complex partnership project with multiple partners. Experience of working on projects involving several stakeholders would be beneficial.
● Group facilitation. Managing TNP meetings, including working with the Head of Festival Networks to set agendas, prepare papers and take minutes is a key requirement so experience of group facilitation would be beneficial.
● Budget management. The role requires managing project budgets effectively. Experience in managing budgets would be beneficial.
● Evaluation and reporting. Compiling evaluation material and writing reports are required for the role. Experience in this area would be beneficial.
