The Met is an innovative and rapidly growing organisation situated in the 2021 Greater Manchester Town of Culture, Bury.
They are unique in the breadth of work they present and ability to nurture artists and develop audiences. They present a mix of live music and comedy in our beautiful Grade II 4.6million refurbished building. They run community workshops, a recording studio and a creative business hub. Their restaurant, Automatic, welcomes in excess of 100,000 visitors per year.
Edwin Street Studio is a partnership with Bury Council and The Met in Bury. With initial capital investment from the Youth Opportunities fund, The Met will develop a sustainable project combining commercial and community use.
They are looking for a talented, creative and inspirational engineer with experience to run recording sessions and manage the studio.
The studio engineer is responsible for running recording sessions and all administrative control of the studio’s operation including scheduling, client liaison, maintenance, engagement of freelance engineers, provision of facilities and quotations. The engineer will also deliver production and education sessions for some artists.
