Antonella Fittipaldi a Neapolitan playwright and performer bringing a multilingual solo show to Liverpool Fringe, exploring queer identity, desire, shame and the struggle to live in the present.
Antonella explains:
‘Liverpool was a deliberate choice. I’ve always felt a connection between Neapolitan and Scouse identities, particularly through humour, physicality and the importance of local language. In fact, if I ever adapted SCALENO into an entirely English-language production, its fierce Neapolitan character would be Scouse’.
