About the role:
As a Screen & Film Technician, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support for their specialist Film facilities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and compliance of their equipment, setting up technical resources for lessons and events, delivering technical demonstrations, and providing specialised support to their vibrant community of students and staff.
What You’ll do:
- Collaborate with their Health & Safety team to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Set up technical resources for lessons and events both on campus and at external venues.
- Deliver engaging technical demonstrations to support curriculum delivery.
- Maintain and manage our inventory of technical equipment.
- Conduct routine checks and low-level maintenance of technical equipment.
- Support the induction and training of students, staff, and lecturers on the safe and effective use of our facilities.
