Liverpool’s iconic waterfront is changing – this Transformation Project will link storytelling, heritage, community, connectivity, and commercial income to create a cohesive visitor experience and catalyst for social and environmental improvements in the area. NML has ambitious plans for their waterfront sites, including the redevelopment of the International Slavery Museum and the Maritime Museum.
This project is made possible with generous support of £9.9million from The National Lottery Heritage Fund with thanks to National Lottery players and the UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund. These funding supports have made this project a reality by providing the foundations to move forward.
This fixed term role will support the delivery of new visitor experiences and galleries within the International Slavery Museum and the Maritime Museum as part of National Museum Liverpool’s Waterfront Transformation Programme. They’re looking for someone with strong project management experience and excellent communication skills who is confident managing multiple projects and has plenty of creative ideas to contribute to the delivery of memorable visitor attractions.
