The Ambassador Theatre Group’s wonderful Liverpool Empire Theatre has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the technical team as a Senior Technician.
The Senior Technician will report to the Head of Lighting & Sound and Head of Stage, and to the Back of House Operations Manager where appropriate. You will be responsible for helping manage the casual staff within the technical department.
The Senior Technician will work closely with the back of house team to manage technical systems with responsibility for all aspects including but not limited to: in-service and testing of electrical equipment, equipment scheduling, lighting and sound systems, stage and Flys and maintenance. liaising with visiting companies providing expertise on the venue’s capabilities.
