2026 will be Liverpool Literary Cycle’s seventh year in existence and their third Year of Reading.
They have booked Central Library for the launch and intend to ‘take over’ the library for this event which will be MEGA this year given it is also the National Year of Reading and the Government have asked the National Literacy Trust to focus on Reading, meaning they will have two strong partners for 2026 so let’s make a difference!
There will be space(s) for stalls, a wide range of performances, panel discussions, workshops, competitions and other activities dictated by you throughout the library.
This email is seeking expressions of interest if you wish to attend as an individual or organisation and if you wish to perform and/or have a stall at the launch.
Please keep responses simple in the first instance:
I/we require a table for person(s) or organization
I/we would like to do an author reading, sell books, perform part of a play, take part in an open mic poetry session or a panel discussion or any other suggestion as an individual or as an organization, they are open to suggestions and ideas on the theme of READING.
They will be in touch early in the new year to confirm your attendance with potential timetables and lay outs for each designated space in the library.
They will be planning the event over the Christmas holiday season so would appreciate responses before 25th December please, many thanks.
