This trainee position at Constellations has been specifically developed to offer a new opportunity to candidates aged 25 – 29, living in Liverpool and currently unemployed. Candidates will need to be registered with Liverpool Ways to be eligible.

This is a full time paid position funded through the ILM Scheme. Employment Contract – Minimum of a 30-week employment contract
Job Role
The role requires the individual to work as part of a team and independently to complete a wide range of marketing activities, such as corresponding with colleagues and agencies to gathering social media content, supporting writing content for a weekly company blog, and researching new social media technologies.
As part of the events team the role includes gathering event information, responding to general incoming enquiries, answering the phone and taking meeting notes alongside other colleagues.
The post requires working to weekly and monthly deadlines set independently and checked off by your line manager.
Responsibilities (The ILM Participant Will Be Trained In The Following)
1. To be able to source and produce engaging content to ensure the blog and social media channels are up to date, relevant and interesting.
2. Learn to drive and manage social media campaigns from content creation, to measurement of campaign success.
3. Receive training that will enable Him/her to contribute to the Company Blog, regular content from events and wider event industry news.
4. Learn how to Continuously monitoring of online conversations across all the brand’s active social media platforms
5. Flag any negative comments to the team/client and formulate a strategy to best mediate conversations
6. Responding and recording general incoming event enquiries
7. Will learn how to Gather Key event information and carrying out ongoing communication with clients from confirmation to delivery.
8. Be taught how to maintain event information for the benefit of clients and internal company operations.
Required Experience And Skills
1. You must have a passion for all things social.
2. Prior experience in customer service but not essential.
3. Applicants must have good written skills and a keen eye for detail.
4. Be proactive and show initiative
5. Build and maintain friendly yet professional relationships with the Constellations and Hinterlands team
Hours
Up to 30 hours per week- national minimum wage for their age. Evening and weekend hours will be required and flexibility is essential.
