As custodians of one of the world’s finest surviving industrial worker villages, Port Sunlight Village Trust is seeking new Trustees to join their Board and support their mission to preserve, promote, and evolve this unique heritage site and community in Wirral.
For over 25 years, they have cared for Port Sunlight’s historic buildings, landscapes, and museum, while celebrating the stories of its people, together with being a residential and commercial landlord with a commitment to positive community engagement. With bold plans for the development of the charity and the village, this is a pivotal moment to get involved.
As a Trustee, you will help shape the future of Port Sunlight by:
- Playing a central role in their ambitious plans.
- Supporting innovative learning programmes and research.
- Helping us thrive as a charity that relies on visitors, donors, and supporters.
- Being involved with our resident advisory groups and Board working groups.
The role is voluntary with reasonable expenses including travel covered. Commitment is part time and will involve attending 4 board meetings per year, 2 away-days, plus working and advisory group involvement.
