The Trustees have overall responsibility for the running of the organisation. They do not take day-to-day decisions, but they must maintain an overview.
They must make sure that as a charity and a social business, Chinese Wellbeing operates competently and in accord with the aims and objectives set out in its governance, and in accord with the laws governing the ways in which charities and businesses must operate. They must shape the strategic direction of the organisation, to try to make sure that Chinese Wellbeing meets future challenges and continues to deliver its services for as long as those services are needed.
As well as having had a committed and skilled workforce, Chinese Wellbeing has benefitted from a stable and supportive Board of Trustees. The time is now right to refresh and supplement the Board of Trustees by bringing in new skills, ideas and energy to take Chinese Wellbeing forward.
They would like to recruit new Trustees who bring a commitment to providing services that are appropriate and responsive to the needs and cultures of our clients.
