The team would like to hear from potential bar tenders, baristas and kitchen staff to join their growing Venue F+B team at Future Yard. Their Venue Team supports the delivery of all aspects of Future Yard’s bar, kitchen, studio and events activities. Activity can cover a number of operational areas including bars, kitchen, back of house and studios.
Though they don’t currently have any positions available to start immediately, they are always keen to hear from people who are interested in joining the team when new opportunities arise.
Core roles:
– To serve on one of their bars across a variety of different events, catering to different audiences
– And/or preparing and serving pizza from their kitchen
– Offer the best possible customer experience to all audiences, from young people to seasoned gig-goers
– To assist in venue close down processes and cleaning after gigs and events
– To develop an in-depth knowledge of menus and to provide great customer service
– To assist with the upkeep of their artist studios
– To provide a friendly, approachable face to their varied community which uses Future Yard in a number of different ways
Must have:
– Previous bar work and/or kitchen experience
– Previous barista/coffee making experience
– Attention to detail
– Good communication skills
– A knowledge of basic food hygiene
– Ability to work quickly in pressured situations while maintaining a level head
– Ability to work well with a team and a friendly, calm and helpful demeanour
Work Pattern
Shifts are predominantly evening and weekend based with occasional day time hours for specific tasks, special events and daytime programming.
