Tate Liverpool is based at the busy Royal Albert Dock. Open 7 days a week they want to offer a warm welcome to everyone at our friendly gallery.
Their casual Visitor Engagement Assistants help provide visitors with a safe, secure, and memorable experience. Whether delivering a short talk or providing directions, you will support a diverse range of audiences to get the most from their visit, helping them to engage with their Collection whilst supporting our mission to build Tate’s reach, revenue, and reputation.
You will bring a passion for delivering great customer service, ensuring that Tate’s audiences feel welcome, whether they’re a first-time visitor or a long-standing Member.
Working as part of a knowledgeable team, you will have a collaborative approach and be able to resolve and respond to queries and feedback independently. You will also have a keen eye for detail, playing a crucial role in maintaining the security of their Collection and providing a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Casual VEAs provide flexible cover as required and therefore working hours will vary. Casual work may be offered on any day of the week including Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. There will also be the opportunity to work evening events. Successful applicants will be able to provide regular availability – typically 3 days a month.The services provided in this role to Tate are on an ad hoc and casual basis.
