RIBA North is the Royal Institute of British Architects’ new national architecture centre on the Waterfront in Liverpool. RIBA North is a place for everyone to discover more about architecture. The architecture centre includes Galleries, The Digital City Model, a Venues and Events offer, RIBA Offices and a café and shop.
We are seeking a Visitor Services and Facilities Assistant to support the effective operation of the centre and the RIBA office across all strands described above. You will support the RIBA North team with excellent administrative skills, deal with suppliers for our facilities team, support our venues and events offer by ensuring spaces are set up to meet user needs and ensure RIBA North is maintained to high standards. The post holder will work closely with the other RIBA teams based in the North West Office and coordinate all essential office services.
Candidates must be practical, proactive problem solvers with excellent administration and customer service skills as well as excellent communication skills to work with individuals from all backgrounds. The successful applicant will enjoy being involved in culture, will be flexible and accommodating with an eye for detail. This role will include providing cover for reception, security and invigilation of the gallery space when require.
