Writing on the Wall (WoW) has a rich 25-year history of using creativity to empower individuals and communities. In May 2024 they delivered their 25th annual month-festival – WoWFEST. Each October they hold a series of events to celebrate Black History Month and produce an annual programme of creative projects that promote positive change for individuals of all backgrounds.
For their next Writer’s Bloc, they have their ‘Time to Write’ session with WoW’s publishing co-ordinator Jenny Dalton.
Jenny Dalton will be sharing her valuable knowledge in the form of tips and insights into how you can get your work published. Jenny has a wealth of knowledge and loves to share. This opportunity is not to be missed!
Every other fortnight on the Writer’s Bloc they offer a ‘Time to Write’ session. You can come into Toxteth Library as part of the local writing community and spend some time practicing your writing work. This might be anything you are currently interested in or working toward: flash fiction, poetry, a novel – anything goes!
This is an opportunity to get valuable feedback, gain more confidence in your work, and spend time with likeminded people.
26 July 2024, 11am to 1pm, Toxteth Library
IMPORTANT: Please do not turn up to a Writer’s Bloc session without registering and being invited. Numbers are limited and session attendance is by invite only. They are unable to allow entry if you have not been accepted onto the session.
