They are looking for a Collections & Access Manager with broad experience to join the team in making the collections we care for as accessible as possible, so that our diverse communities can be inspired by the stories they tell. You will put audiences at the heart of everything we do, championing greater understanding, appreciation and engagement of the museum’s inspirational collections.

Creative Producer – Open Eye Hub, Wigan and Leigh, closes 22 May

Open Eye Gallery, in partnership with Wigan Council, wish to appoint a Lead Creative Producer to manage the process of establishing Open Eye Hub, Wigan and Leigh.

The post holder will work alongside the Lead Officer – Arts at Wigan Council, an existing producer and with core partner, Wigan & Leigh College. They will manage a process which takes forward an established vision and operating model for a programme of activity that has socially engaged photography at its heart. The process will include reaching out to community partners who will help shape programme development over the next year.

Duration: From June 2023 to March 2025 / Fixed Term Contract for 2 years

The Lead Creative Producer role is part time over 40 weeks from June 2023 until March 2024. Working days will be flexible averaging 1 to 2 days per week and negotiated as needed with Open Eye Gallery Director.

Fee: £14,000 (roughly equating to 92 days across 2 years at £150 per day).

Office Administrator – ActUpNorth, closes 2 Jun

Since 2009 ActUpNorth has grown to be one of the largest and most respected independent actor training programmes outside of London. ActUpNorth offers part-time weekly adult acting classes in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Online.

Job Description

– In person training with a view to the position being mainly remote working.

– 5 days per week, General working hours – Mon – Friday 10am – 1pm, 2pm-6pm, 7 hours per day, 35 hours P/w.

– To report to the Office Manager and Creative Director of ActUpNorth.

– To work alongside the ‘Office Manager’ to ensure accurate and ‘up to date’ record keeping.

– To be the first port of call via email and telephone for all those contacting the business. This will include the likes of prospective students, current students and industry contacts such as Casting Directors and Agents.

– To manage the day to day administration needs of the business.

– To manage and prepare the weekly school registers.

– To gather weekly figures and data to report to the Office Manager.

– To oversee and support the needs of ‘ActUpNorth Online’ and its potential for future growth.

– To liaise with teaching staff as required.

– To report ‘news’ to the ‘Social Media Administrator’ and support their needs on a weekly basis.

– To manage all aspects of the student application process from receiving enquiries/ application forms, to the booking of trial/audition classes, to offers and the processing of acceptance paperwork.

– To assist the Office Manager with the forward planning of the academic calendar and associated documents.

– To manage the booking of ‘Audition/ Trial Classes’ with the Office Manager and Creative Director as the needs of the business.

– To help prep student e-comms

– To liaise with ‘Office Manager’ to prepare discussion points ahead of the ‘Weekly Zoom Catch-up’ with the Creative Director.

– Following the ‘Weekly Catch-up’ to confirm individual tasks and responsibilities for the coming week.

– To support the Office Manager and Creative Director with adhoc and specific weekly tasks.

– Must be proficient on Microsoft Office – Word, Powerpoint, Excel.

– Experience of working with ‘MailChimp’ and advantage.

Company Manager – Royal Exchange Theatre, closes 5 Jun

At the Royal Exchange the whole Making Team is included in the creative process and the Company Manager works closely with the Producing Lead, Director of Producing and Production, Artistic Leadership and the rest of the Making Team and freelancers to assist on the smooth running of productions on stage and in rehearsal. This includes primary responsibility for the welfare of the acting companies.

The Company Manager will be the first point of contact and look after any issues arising regarding welfare through rehearsals and performances.

This will at times require you to work evenings and weekends. The role will also oversee and be the first port of call for all stage management teams including working with the closely with the Director of Producing and Production and the Producing Lead to recruit stage management for the season for the Module productions, Connecting Team and other one off events.

The post holder will be energetic and imaginative with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide variety of people within a large and busy producing theatre.

The Project Producer and Facilitator for Learning and Engagement will plan and deliver a broad range of learning opportunities for education providers, families and community groups. Access Coordinator/Community Coordinator roles – Imagine Bamboo is Everywhere, closes 15 May

Culture Liverpool is looking to appoint an experienced Access Coordinator and Community Coordinator for Imagine Bamboo is Everywhere (IBIE).

This is an ambitious outdoor participatory public art and performance project taking place in August 2023, with set up and creative development and production from May 2023. The roles are to support the Project Producer in identifying the individual artists, groups and participants access requirements to support groups/artists to take part in all aspects of the project. In addition, the role will help to identify and support the engagement of local/dance/circus/music groups across the 6 boroughs to take part in the circus, music commissions and IBIE more widely this summer.

The Executive Producer is Liverpool City Region, working closely with Culture Liverpool, and the project builds on Imagine Bamboo 2022 and Bridge2Bamboo 2021, produced by Imagineer Productions and led by independent artistic director, Orit Azaz.

The IT Systems Assistant will support the day-to-day setup and maintenance of IT systems and devices. Alongside the wider team, you will be on hand to resolve and restore services as quickly as possible when issues arise. All of this must be done in a secure and controlled way.
