Freelance Music Facilitator – Simply Singing CIC, closes 30 Jun

The facilitator will lead Singing For Lung Health sessions, providing breath training, musical training, and appropriate guidance to participants living with breathlessness.

The facilitator’s role is to work in partnership with the Lead Facilitator, sometimes running sessions together and occasionally alone. When running sessions together it is expected that the facilitator will play guitar or keyboard/piano to accompany singing, with the ability to easily transpose if necessary.

The facilitator will run fun, fulfilling, and supportive 1.5 hour sessions for participants using the Simply Singing musical resources provided, and lead performances which will sometimes be at different times to the rehearsal, but always agreed in advance.

They will assist the Singing For Lung Health participants to write a song reflecting their experiences. The scope of this mini project will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

Learning Projects Coordinator – Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, closes 9 Jul

Liverpool Philharmonic’s work is rooted in the communities around them and they’re proud to engage over a hundred thousand people in our Learning Programmes every year.

They’re currently looking for two Learning Projects Co-ordinators to help deliver our Learning Programmes for children, young people, families, adults and communities. Each role has a different focus:

    • Role 1: You’ll join the Youth Company team, facilitating youth ensemble rehearsals, events and activities. You’ll be responsible for large groups of children and young people, and take an active role in talent development within the Liverpool City Region.
    • Role 2: You’ll help to co-ordinate multiple Learning Projects, including our Music and Health programme, which uses music to improve the health and wellbeing of adults and young people. You’ll also play an active role in our Higher Education partnerships, Emerging Professionals programme, and Under 5s concerts.

In both roles, you’ll manage relationships with participants, professional musicians and stakeholders, serving as a first point of contact for all involved. You’ll help to grow the reach and diversity of our Learning Programmes and be responsible for the safeguarding and health and safety of participants. If you’re a motivated and organised communicator, with a keen eye for detail and a great knowledge of music, this might just be the perfect role for you.

Production Coordinator – The Tung Auditorium, closes 12 Jul

The Tung Auditorium is a state-of-the-art, high specification concert hall which delivers an outstanding live music performance experience. Situated within the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre with world-class teaching and learning at its heart, the Tung Auditorium celebrates the University’s cultural contribution to the city and seeks to offer an open and inclusive programme, enhancing engagement with the arts locally, regionally and nationally.

They are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to facilitate the delivery of a high-quality programme of concerts and events. Reporting to the Artistic Director and working closely with other concert hall colleagues, the role holder will be responsible for overseeing logistical stage and backstage information for the programme of concerts and events.

You will have an excellent understanding of live music production across many genres. If you meet the essential requirements of the person specification, we encourage you to apply.

The majority of hours will be within the working week, but there will be a need to work some evenings and weekends. Hours worked above the contracted 28 hours each week will be taken back as TOIL (time-off-in-lieu) subject to prior agreement from the line manager.

Community Engagement Consultant – Port Sunlight Village Trust, closes 29 Jun

In response to a range of varied challenges, PSVT is considering how they should approach resident engagement in the future.

They are looking for a consultant or consultancy team to carry out initial work with us to explore best practice and develop some options for consideration by the Board of Trustees, as part of a staged approach to developing new practice in our relationship with village residents and PSVT tenants.

The consultant must have demonstrable experience of community engagement and consultation, an understanding of charity governance, community development and capacity building, as well as strong skills in research, strategic thinking and communication.

Finance Lead Trustee – Liverpool Irish Festival, closes 30 Jun

This Trustee will bring sound independent financial judgement, strategic vision, and a familiarity with charity accounting to the Board.

You will play a significant role in the governance of the Festival, helping to ensure that the Festival fulfils its financial duties and responsibilities in compliance with charity and company law. The Finance Lead will monitor, review and report on the financial aspects of the Festival and ensure its sustainability.

The Trustee works with the Artistic Director and CEO and the Festival’s appointed accountants to ensure that the charity’s financial affairs are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice.

Generally, this trustee helps the Board carry out its financial responsibilities by: presenting financial reports to the board in a format that helps the board understand the charity’s financial position sharing a financial report at each Board meeting advising the Board on achieving its financial responsibilities liaising with professional advisors managing financial risks overseeing the preparation of annual accounts that give a true and fair view of the financial affairs of the company. when necessary, taking on some financial duties, such as book-keeping, budgeting and preparation of reports and funding bids.

Visitor Services, Casual – Port Sunlight Village Trust, closes 3 Jul

Port Sunlight Village Trust (PSVT) operates an award-winning visitor attraction, comprising Port Sunlight Museum, the Edwardian Worker’s Cottage, a programme of guided village tours, and SoapWorks, which together celebrate the social, architectural, and industrial significance of Port Sunlight.

As Visitor Services Assistant, you will help showcase Port Sunlight to all visitors. You will meet and greet group, independent and school visitors, creating a safe, welcoming, and friendly environment for learning, discovery, and enjoyment.

You will process all ticket and gift shop transactions and encourage Gift Aid and other types of donations to maximise income. Overall, you will ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.

Attractions currently operate on reduced hours, they are Wednesday – Sunday, 10.00am – 17.00. These hours are subject to change. Group and school bookings sometimes fall on Mondays and Tuesdays.

As the General Manager for Proud and Loud Arts, your role will be crucial in keeping things running smoothly within their small organisation. You’ll be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks and making sure they use resources wisely.
