LUMA Quintet

An evening of popular songs from South and Central America and the Caribbean. LUMA Quintet takes you on a journey of the continent’s vibrant and diverse musical heritage including Cumbia, Son, Joropo, Chacarera, Merengue, and much more. Featuring songs from some legends of Latin American music including Ruben Blades, Mercedes Sosa, Victor Jara and Juan Luis Guerra. The quintet is led by Chilean brothers Francisco & Oscar Carrasco and features Erik Blanchard, P Max Alder and Jonathan Raisin. They will be joined by musical friends and members of LUMA Creations’ dance group. The concert is held at Liverpool Philharmonic's Music Room, Friday 3rd June 2022.
