Introducing FACT's monthly Studio/Lab Development Surgeries! Creating a space to connect with people who have the same or similar interests, our Development Surgeries are an opportunity to chat with artists and creatives who use technology in their practice.
If you're unsure how to make your VR project audience-friendly, wondering if you should use Unity or Unreal, or looking for someone to talk to about funding applications - then join us to share, ask questions, and seek some advice.
Studio/Lab Development Surgeries offer a laid-back atmosphere focused on meaningful conversations. They invite you to join them with a few questions in mind and be prepared to discuss your project ideas or ongoing work. You're very welcome to bring along your lunch too!
The topic of discussion for their first surgery is digital production which will focus on works which use CGI, modelling software, and/or game engines.
They’re joined by three artists with different digital skillsets who will be on hand to answer questions. Chat with artists Dongni Liang (Cinema 4D) and Ellie Towers (Blendr, Dall-E), as well as FACT’s Programme Technologist, Ben Hall (Cinema 4D, Blendr, Unity), who will be running the session.
