Writing In Space With Day Mattar

Join poet Day Mattar for this special one-day writing workshop, responding to the architecture and exhibitions at FACT. Poet and performer Day Mattar invites writers, both aspiring and experienced, to join them for this special one-day workshop that considers how we might write in response to different physical contexts, using the architecture and exhibitions at FACT as inspiration. The workshop is structured around the body's responses to different kinds of spaces and experiences, and by the end, you will have written a short poem that you can share with other attendees. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Studio/Lab, FACT's new space for artists to make art and experiment with the latest technology.
