Muddy puddles, creepy crawlies, and maybe even a few furry friends – follow the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra as they set off on a magical, musical nature trail. Whether it’s the bottom of the garden, or the woods round the corner, there’s always something to discover when you step into nature, and today our Orchestra brings the outdoors inside with a spectacular showcase of works inspired by the countryside. So put on your wellies, and let’s have an adventure!

Witches, vampires, ghosts and ghouls – they’re all here at the Hall this Halloween! In this fa-boo-lous family concert, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra take on the spooky and the spine-chilling, performing haunting music from your favourite films and television, as well as creepy classics by Mussorgsky, Saint-Saëns, Leroy Anderson and more. So come along in your most devilish disguise and settle in for a journey of musical mystery – it’s guaranteed to give you goosebumps…

We’re heading back through the musical mists of time to meet everyone’s favourite prehistoric pals… Together with presenter Claire Henry and musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, we’ll discover the dinosaurs that walked the Earth millions of years ago – and there’ll be lots of roarsome musical fun along the way!
Tickets for under-6 months are free but must be booked in advance with an adult ticket.

Aimed at children aged 0-8, Mosh Tots is here to introduce young people to the rockin’ world of live music in a safe and fun environment. We believe that live music should be for everyone, no matter your age. For too long live music venues have been off limits for young children and their parents. Mosh Tots flips that on its head and is an opportunity to share the joy of live music together as a family.
Tickets are on sale now at £14 for kids aged 1-8, and £7 for Mini Moshers aged under 1 – or bring an under 1 for a discounted price when they come with a child aged 1-8.
For every child ticket purchased, 1 adult goes free. Tickets are needed for any additional adults attending, priced at £3.50.

NYOS, Scotland’s national youth orchestra presents the world premiere of a new concerto from Jay Capperauld, one of Scotland’s most innovative young composers, in celebration of their first international tour in almost 10 years.
NYOS are thrilled to be joined by accordionist and BBC New Generation artist Ryan Corbett who will appear as soloist in Capperauld’s exciting and macabre new work, inspired by Luigi Galvani, an 18th-century physician whose experiments influenced Shelley’s Frankenstein. Featuring Scotland’s most promising young musicians, the NYOS orchestra will be conducted by their Music Director Catherine Larsen-Maguire in a spectacular programme also featuring Anna Clyne’s This Midnight Hour and Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique. Â
