Suzi Quatro is back to celebrate the 60th year of her reign as the Queen of Rock ‘N Roll!
Born in Michigan she was in many successful bands, but got her real career break when super-producer Mickie Most saw her perform live. She flew to England in 1971 and went on to quickly create the monster hit ‘Can The Can’ with songwriters Chinn and Chapman. Two and a half million copies of this song were snapped by an entranced public, catapulting her to the top, where she has stayed. A star was well and truly born.
Having now sold over 55 million records – she featured in the UK charts for 101 weeks between 1973 and 1980 – Suzi has never lost the knack for great rock and roll.
The energy and sheer power of performance at a Suzi Quatro show remain undimmed. As she famously says herself, “I will retire when I go on stage, shake my a**, and there is silence”. One thing that this celebratory tour will definitely not deliver is silence: it’s going to be loud!
The War on Drugs will return to the UK this July for two Liverpool dates.
The band will bring their show, hailed by The Guardian as ‘wistful, immersive rock turned up to 11’ , to the city to headline a sold out Mountford Hall on Tuesday July 9th with a brand new date added on Monday July 8th due to phenomenal demand.
Two further sold-out nights at the Royal Albert Hall in London mark the band’s first ever concerts at the iconic and historic venue on the 11th and 12th of July.
The War on Drugs have steadily emerged as one of this century’s great rock and roll synthesists, removing the gaps between the underground and the mainstream, between the obtuse and the anthemic, making records that wrestle a fractured past into a unified and engrossing present.
Attention all Beatles and Rolling Stones fans! Prepare yourselves for an electrifying experience and celebrate the essence of Rock n Roll.
Join them for a journey through the timeless hits of these two iconic bands as we settle the age-old debate: who truly reigns supreme in the world of music? Will Brown Sugar or Honky Tonk Woman be up to your Satisfaction or will She Loves You and I Wanna Hold Your Hand make you Twist and Shout?!
Representing the four lads from Liverpool are the Cavern Club’s very own, The Cavern Club Beatles, the only band officially endorsed by the legendary venue. Collectively this band has played on London’s West End, New York’s Broadway, toured the world extensively, as well as performing their sell-out show at the Cavern Club fifty two weeks of the year.
Representing The Rolling Stones, are Rocks Off from Sweden, the world’s finest tribute to The Rolling Stones. The band are no strangers to Liverpool and have been regular headliners at Liverpool’s Mathew Street Festival and have been wowing audiences at International Beatleweek Festival for over 20 years.
The night wouldn’t be complete without a special guest tribute to the Rock n Roll Pioneer, Little Richard. Buzz D’Angelo will be bringing his flamboyancy to the stage in tribute to the man who influenced the music of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Join singer, songwriter and musician Rick Astley as he dives into a captivating discussion on the complexities of fame, fortune, and the pressures of the spotlight.
Sharing on his newly released autobiography, Never, Rick will candidly talk about how working with legendary music producers Stock Aitken and Waterman to create the hit song “Never Gonna GiveYou Up” changed his life forever and how he managed the tumultuous and glamorous world of pop on the back of his early success.
Hear him open up about his difficult childhood, how he handled becoming the viral internet sensation behind “Rickrolling”, and what it felt like to perform at one of the biggest festivals of the year, Glastonbury. Authentic and resilient, don’t miss your chance to see and hear Rick as he goes deep into his unparalleled life and career.

Recorded in Abbey Road Studio 2 on Earth Day 2024, Earth Day Blue is the fourteenth release from Nick Harper, the wildly talented and much-loved singer-songwriter.
Earth Day Blue is peppered with acoustic ear-worms written with a Studio 2 Beatles-esque approach of short, immediate songs, but with the added brio of a group of studio attendees sometimes driven to sing along to Nick’s guitar and voice, adding a party atmosphere to the day. Along the way, Nick displays all his (un)usual talents, from his trademark virtuoso string-bending guitar playing, to his penchant for prose poems when describing the scene at Abbey Road in the 70s in ‘The Lady in the Fur Coat.’
The recording captures the magic of a live performance in a controlled environment, though, in a space such as this, dripping with portent and legacy, there is a tangible added depth of poignancy and emotion underlying the album.
For Nick Harper fans and for new fans alike, it is all here in unadorned beauty, an album that witnesses a solo artist without dilution or compromise, nor studio trickery or production prop, having a great day performing in one of the most hallowed rooms on the planet.
The Real Thing are back! Original vocalists Chris Amoo and Dave Smith go on tour with their first new album of original material in 44 years, A Brand New Day.
The Real Thing enjoyed success in both the 1970s and 1980s with three Top 10 singles. The number one hit ‘You To Me Are Everything’, ‘Can’t Get By Without You’, ‘Can You Feel The Force ‘ and many more are still featured daily on all the major UK radio stations.
They also had a hit movie Everything which played nationally in cinemas and was also aired on TV. This was followed by their Greatest Hits Album which made the official National Album Charts and reached number two in the Amazon download charts.
The Real Thing are undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with.
On’t Summer Solstice Klof have decided to set up shop in Liverpool’s picturesque Nordic Church and are very pleased to be bringing Northern Trad songsters Brown Wimpenny along with them for their first Liverpool show.
The band are young singers of old songs and new dancers of old jigs, combining traditional folk with booming harmonies, experimental noise and a good ol’ bit of drone.
Tickets are £10, there will be food (as always), some drinks and possibly some cake and coffee?
Supports and such to be announced in due time, worth keeping the eyes peeled…
Variety of genres with Grand National Chorus 4 part harmony supported by the Barkla Buskers ukulele band and Wired for Sound community choir.
Held: Runcorn Hill Park, 23 June, 1 – 3pm
The Montagues take over Future Yard on Friday 1st November as they celebrate the release of their EP Verona Act 1.
Hailing from the shadows of yesteryears UK holiday destinations, soaked in the amusement arcades and fun fairs of the North Wales Coast. The Montagues are a five-piece alt. rock/indie band that deliver a layered, anthemic and melodic sound, derived from a childhood of rubbing shoulders with holiday makers and day trippers from all over Britain.
Guitar driven melodies, accompanied by punchy bass lines and hook induced vocals, they embody everything people love in a modern indie band.
Lyrically influenced by the stories of a working-class Welsh town, desperately trying to cling onto the highs of days gone by, you can’t help but get wrapped in the nostalgia of the relatable tales.
After an incredible reaction at Future Yard in November, The Beggs Sisters are back for 2024. For those of you who missed out on the amazing evening of beautiful harmonies and incredible stories, you can book your tickets now and get it in your diary.
Willow and Luna were encouraged from an early age to follow their own musical paths by their musician father Nick Beggs, who initially found fame in the 80s with the band Kajagoogoo. But together as a family trio, their music captures audiences leaving them speechless by beautiful harmonies and incredible original songs
Support acts are to be announced but they guarantee it will be a spectacular evening that promises soulful and heartfelt performances.
