Old Baby Mackerel with full supporting programme.
Get ready for some seriously high-energy, foot-stomping fun! Old Baby Mackerel are one of the UK’s finest bluegrass outfits, featuring a dizzying line-up of renowned musicians from some of the country’s best folk and Americana bands. Founded by banjo player Sam Garrard in 2016, the band quickly gathered a devoted following on the UK festival circuit before touring internationally across Thailand, Germany, Portugal, Italy, and Austria. They’ve headlined the Northern-Irish, Cornish, and Swiss Bluegrass festivals, and graced the stages of Glastonbury, Shambala, and countless other major festivals. Their music uses the rhythmic sounds of fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and double bass to create what’s been described as “furiously fast, knee-slapping bluegrass with five-part harmonies and raucous, over-the-top hillbilly antics.” BBC Radio Bristol’s Adam Crowther raved: “That’s the first Bluegrass track I’ve played on Upload and I love it, so, so good!” Be prepared to be transported back to early 20th century North America with songs about locomotion, whisky, and bootleg liquor – all played with blistering solos, sweet harmonies, and the kind of virtuosic musicianship that’ll have you yee-hawing harder than a nine-pound hammer!

With a perfect mix of superb musicianship and comedy, the Unravelling Wilburys are brothers ‘Sticky’ Willy, Walter, Thumper, Blind Melon and Honky Tonk, who tell their unique story on how they became a tribute band.
Now so popular that they were even a question on TV show “The Chase”, the boys spend their time travelling all over the UK, from the Orkney Islands to the Isle of Wight; from Penzance to Perth; from Southwold to South Wales; getting rave reviews and packing out theatres along the way in towns whose names they’ve never heard of and can’t pronounce.
The show features the best of the Wilbury albums (‘Handle With Care’; ‘The End of The Line’; ‘The Devil’s Been Busy’; ‘Tweeter & The Monkeyman’) alongside back-catalogue numbers such as ‘Refugee’ (Tom Petty); ‘While my Guitar Gently Weeps’ (George Harrison); ‘Like a Rollin Stone’ (Bob Dylan); ‘Only the Lonely’ (Roy Orbison) and ‘Mr. Blue Sky’ (Jeff Lynne).
The act also contains the kind of comedy only a band spending far too many nights in Travelodge hotels could dream up.
So turn off your hearing aid, put your Zimmer frame to one side and prepare for a great night out.
It’s a journey you ain’t gonna forget in a hurry!

After dazzling audiences with their sold-out shows of Carole King’s Tapestry and a raucous tribute to Neil Young’s After the Gold Rush last June, Visions of Albion return to the Music Room for a third time – this time celebrating another album whose influence is heard and felt far and wide.
Visions of Albion are harking back to their roots with a tribute to an album as iconic as it was groundbreaking: Fairport Convention’s 1969 magnum opus Liege & Lief. Widely regarded as the record that introduced the world to Britain’s emerging electric-folk movement, Liege & Lief endures as a milestone that challenged and changed the very boundaries of what was possible in popular music.
Alongside the pioneering guitar work of Richard Thompson and the band’s inventive reworkings of traditional British folk songs, Liege & Lief is also remembered for the spellbinding voice of Sandy Denny, whose timeless performances helped define the sound of an entire era.
Visions of Albion will be joined by a full live band, bringing to life the passion, power, and poetry of this landmark album – an enduring celebration of tradition, reinvention and the spirit of folk music itself.Support is from Andy Connally, a singer songwriter and multi instrumentist who crafts his own vulnerabilities and life experiences into song and music. Raised in a musical family from Ireland, Andy came through Liverpool Comhaltas competing in Fleadh Cheoils over the years before venturing into song and music writing. Having performed and toured with many bands, Andy’s repertoire of writing and performance holds influence from traditional, modern, and contemporary folk. Andy lays bare his soul in words and music in a way that will connect and resonate. Insights and details behind lyrics and why they were written give you a sense of inclusion with each song. “Great storyteller… evocative and wistful” (festivals uk online magazine review) Vocals, flute, whistles, bouzouki, guitar, and piano.
The tour will see YES performing their 1971 classic album Fragile in its entirety, including such timeless songs as ‘Heart of the Sunrise’, ‘South Side of the Sky’ and the much loved ‘Roundabout’, as well as a selection of songs from right across their illustrious catalogue, from their legendary 70s releases right up to their current album, Mirror To the Sky.
Fragile was the fourth album by YES, cracking the Top 10 in the UK in 1971, achieving Platinum status along the way, and was the first to feature keyboardist Rick Wakeman. The single ‘Roundabout’ was a Top 20 hit in the States with the album breaking into the Top 5 on the Billboard chart, and receiving a Double Platinum certification in the process.
The current line-up of YES features Steve Howe, whose association with Yes began in 1970, along with Geoff Downes, a member of the 1980 Drama era line-up. Jon Davison has been lead vocalist in Yes since 2012 while bassist, Billy Sherwood, who was hand-picked by original bassist Chris Squire, has been involved with YES since 1990s. Jay Schellen, who worked closely with Alan White on drums, completes the line-up.
The Blue boys are back in town! Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan are ready to make new memories with the news that they will release their all-new studio album Reflections in January 2026 – the first taste of which comes with today’s lead single ‘One Last Time’.
Blue are firmly established as one of Britain’s biggest pop forces of the 21st century. Just look at their catalogue: the iconic mega hits ‘All Rise’ and ‘One Love’, three #1 smashes in the shape of ‘Too Close’, ‘If You Come Back’ and ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’ (with Elton John) PLUS another six Top 10 singles.
Jethro Tull – one of the most unique and groundbreaking progressive rock bands of all time – will be performing music from much of their 24 album catalogue starting with 1968’s This Was through to their acclaimed Curious Ruminant released earlier this year.
As formidable as they are iconic, it would be easy to say that Jethro Tull are merely still enjoying the fruits of their early labour as they announce a tour in what will be their 58th year but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Curious Ruminant was released in March 2025 and this was preceded by the release of 2022’s The Zealot Gene and 2023’s RökFlöte. Add to that over 50 shows a year all over the world, including The Seven Decades Tour in 2024 and it becomes clear that Ian Anderson remains as committed to the creativity of Jethro Tull as he has ever been.
On this tour, Ian will be accompanied by long-standing Tull band musicians David Goodier (bass), John O’Hara (keyboards), Scott Hammond (drums) and new boy Jack Clark (guitar). The show will be enhanced by full-scale video throughout.
