From the ranching country of southern Alberta, Canada, we welcome the return of the great duo Over The Moon – Suzanne Levesque and Craig Bignell. These award-winning multi-instrumentalists play a wild ride of music from 1940s western swing and Appalachian old-time to cowboy blues. What makes them special is their near-perfect vocal blend (which has been known to move people to tears) and their use of strictly acoustic instruments including ukuleles, washboard, kazoo, double bass, and guitars. Most of their songs are originals that tell stories of life in southern Alberta’s ranching country, and they were given their first album’s title song “Moondancer” by the late Ian Tyson himself. Their latest album “Chinook Waltz” showcases their beautiful two-part harmonies and the wide array of instruments they play. This is feel-good music at its finest!

Steve Cradock, guitarist for Ocean Colour Scene, is behind some of the most distinctive riffs in British rock over the past 30 years. His signature guitar work powered tracks like The Riverboat Song and Hundred Mile High, helping to launch OCS to double-platinum success with their iconic album Moseley Shoals.

Since forming the band in 1989 alongside Simon Fowler, Damon Minchella, and Oscar Harrison, Cradock has remained a key figure in the UK music scene.

OCS played record breaking gigs with Oasis at Knebworth for 250,000 people as Britpop reached its zenith in 1996. He joined Paul Weller’s band in 1992 and has appeared on all of his studio albums, while also joining The Specials in 2014.

In his debut tour, Steve will be playing and singing hits from the OCS songbook, and much more.

Stephen Fearing and The Sentimentals with full supporting programme.

This is a real treat, folks! Stephen Fearing, one of Canada’s finest songwriters and a two-time Juno Award winner, is bringing his extraordinary backing band – the award-winning Danish indie-folk trio The Sentimentals. Born in Vancouver but raised in Dublin (where his schoolmates included future members of U2!), Stephen is a founding member of the acclaimed roots-rock supergroup Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, with 16 solo albums to his credit and collaborations with legends like Bruce Cockburn and Sarah McLachlan.

Since their first tour together in 2018, Stephen and The Sentimentals – M.C. Hansen on electric guitar, Nikolaj Wolf on electric bass, and Jacob Chano on percussion – have become fast friends, creating a distinctive sound that blends classic songwriting with innovative folk elements. Their chemistry comes beautifully to life on Stephen’s 2022 album “Vejpoesi” (Danish for “Road Poems”), recorded live in Denmark, and showcases the kind of magical connection between musicians that only comes from years of playing together. This will be an evening of profound artistry and world-class musicianship that you won’t want to miss!
