On this his sixth UK tour, Geoff Norcott will be trying to make sense of the current cultural and political scene with his playfully provocative brand of humour.

Whether it’s the dire blandness of the two main parties or the shamelessly shoe-horned right-on messages in adverts and films, Geoff will continue to tread in areas much of comedy leaves well alone.

But this time around he also has a mission. As well as casting his everyman eye over what’s happening in wider society, Geoff is trying to unpick what’s happening with your average bloke. Remember them?

Conjuring capers, mysterious magic tricks, larger than life laughs, and fantastic facial furniture all crammed into one hour of non-stop fun for all the family.

Chinese New Year Gala

St George’s Hall and the University of Liverpool Confucius Institute are excited to celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon with you this February.

Join us for an incredible show, highlighting the beauty of Chinese culture in our exquisite Great Hall. There will be a traditional dragon dance, martial arts demonstrations, Chinese music, and much more.

Jibber Jabber Jamboree marks Ross Noble’s 21st solo stand-up tour. To celebrate this milestone, he invites you to join him for an evening of the sort of inspired nonsense that has cemented his place as the supreme master of stream of conscious freewheeling stand up.

This is a chance to see Noble live on stage in his natural habitat. What’s it about? What will we learn? How will it change the world? Are all pointless questions to ask when Noble is off on one of his tangents.

Music and Poetry Night

Kunst Site presents the fourth instalment of its Music and Poetry event, a cosy evening filled with live music and spoken word performances by various local and Manchester based artists.

Located at Quarry, the event will be held indoors with plenty of seating opportunities.

Doors are at 6:30pm.
