In wartime and in peace Cunard was, and continues to be, a central part of Liverpool’s maritime story. Discover their maritime history collections which explore the long association between Cunard and its spiritual home, Liverpool.
Their museum facilitator will share Cunard’s story with visitors to the waterfront ahead of Liverpool hosting the spectacular naming ceremony for its newest ship Queen Anne.

A lino printing workshop for young people aged 16-24 years old, inspired by the Bees exhibition
In this workshop, which is suitable for beginners, you will learn how to design and cut out your lino to create your own unique print. You will get to print your design on paper and also a tote bag to take home with you.
All materials are included and no previous experience is needed.
This workshop is for young people aged 16-24 years old.
Please note that some sharp objects may be used in this workshop due to the nature of the print methods. If you will need any additional support or if there is anything they can do to make this session more accessible for you, please get in touch by emailing youngpeople@liverpoolmuseums.org.uk.
Be inspired by the world-class artworks on display at the Lady Lever Art Gallery and hone your own skills depicting the human form in these life drawing sessions.
They will use a diversity of models to explore different body types and present shorter and longer poses to give you the opportunity to develop your skills.
All sessions are held in the splendour of the Lady Lever Art Gallery and will have very limited places to maintain a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
These sessions are suitable for absolute beginners as well as more experienced artists. Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased in advance.
Basic art materials will be provided but if you would like to bring your own you are welcome to. Please note that there are no facilities for washing brushes or palettes.
