The morning will begin with foraging for foliage in the grounds of Calderstones Park, and then heading back indoors to create a natural festive door wreath with the materials you have gathered yourselves.

A 2 hour class open to all ages above 6, they normally have a wide range of ages attend.
Learn the basic skills of the spray can then create your own 3x3ft posters to take away (They suggest letting dry for at least a couple of hours!)
Come through to Metal at Platform 1 Edge Hill train station for an afternoon with Liverpool Hip Hop Festival. Hosted by Nikki Blaze and Tony Broke, the day will start with a Hip Hop performance, followed by workshops in the different pillars of hip hop — a.k.a. the five elements. This day of activities for young people will allow you the opportunity to learn about and experience writing, MCing, breaking, DJing and beatboxing with experts from each discipline.
Open to 11-18 year olds. This is a free event, with capacity limited to 60 people. Refreshments provided.

Join Booker Flowers for a festive morning of floristry on Sunday 3rd December at The Reader, Mansion House, Calderstones Park. The morning will start with everyone foraging for their foliage (greenery) in the beautiful grounds of The Manion House, and then heading back indoors to create a natural festive door wreath, with the materials you have gathered yourselves.
This class will cover a selection of different floral techniques to make a door wreath, from scratch, using the materials you have foraged. You can then choose from different types of natural accessories, pinecones, ribbons etc to decorate your wreath (included in the cost). Once finished the wreath will be perfect to take home to hang on your door over the festive period.
If you have been to a previous flower school class, you can still attend as you will learn something new and create something special. However, no previous experience is needed as Florists will be on hand to help and assist you (if needed).
This class is a fun way to learn about flower arranging from a professional Florist in Liverpool – perfect for a girls’ day out or a great way to get you in the Christmas mood.
