National Museums Liverpool know their museums are great places to visit during those long summer holidays but for some families the busy and noisy galleries can be overwhelming and uninviting, so we are opening our doors after hours.
This event is especially for families with children aged 3+ who have members who are neurodivergent or have other conditions which mean they prefer a more relaxed visit.
This evening event is all about discovery at your own pace, with quieter spaces and supportive staff on hand. Families can get up close with our transport collection, take part in hands on activities and enjoy sensory friendly fun inspired by vehicles from the past.
Tickets are £2 per child and can be booked via the links on this page. If you are a larger group, please email us before booking so we can plan for your visit. Please email participation@liverpoolmuseums.org.uk if you'd like more information, have any questions or if there are access needs we need to consider.
To help you plan your visit, information about museum access and facilities, as well as links to their museum visual story, can be found on our access and facilities page.
Visit their Land Transport online collection page to find out more about our collection.
