Andrew Logan is a British sculptor, jeweller, painter and performance artist. Creator and perpetual host of Alternative Miss World - the outrageous and ongoing, iconic and countercultural art /fashion event which he established in 1972.
Throughout all of Andrew's work, he explores transformation, joy, celebration and beauty. His large scale mirror and glass sculpture and portraits can be found in art collections across the world. His smaller scale, wearable art pieces are unique, wonderful and collectable jewellery pieces that allow people to take a part of Andrew's world with them wherever they go.
Perhaps his most incredible creation is The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture - which houses many of his most loved artworks as well as an archive of Alternative Miss World memorabilia in Berriew, Powys in Mid-Wales.
Traditionally staged at the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the Jewellery Extravaganza performance celebrates the grand opening of Andrew's Museum of Sculpture in Berriew, Mid-Wales in 1991. This year is The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture's 35th birthday - it's half-platinum!
