Alongside our twice minthly pop-up cafe, FHRS are celebrating the 160th Anniversary of the line and station opening, we have music by Familar Ground. The Thomas Brassey Society (TBS) will have a stand highlighting the work done locally and worldwide by Thomas Brassey, railway engineer. A new poster will be unveiled by TBS and FHRS will have an information stand.
Hadlow Road Station is a Grade II listed Hertiage England station with a historic museum which has been restored to look as it did when the station closed in 1956, now part of the Wirral Way it is looked after by Friends of Hadlow Road Station (FHRS).
FHRS run pop-up cafes on the platform twice a month, Sunday mornings 10am to 1pm, cash only, serving bacon baps, teacakes, tea, coffee and cakes. All funds raised are put back into the station's maintenance, restoration and development.
