Join in for a full day of Locking with the Funky Femmes!
Who are they?
A group of likeminded women who have danced together for over a decade and who have a passion for sharing their love of street dance and funk styles.

What to expect –
The workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and will build your knowledge of Locking throughout the day.
10am-12pm – They’ll start the day with short discussion about the history and culture of Locking and other funk styles. They’ll get moving with a warm up and spend the rest of the morning learning the fundamental moves of Locking.
12pm-1pm Lunch Break
1pm-3pm After lunch they will continue to build on their Locking foundations, learn how the music influences their dancing, create their own sets/routines and maybe even throw down in a jam circle!
Just £15 for the full day. Places are limited so booking is essential.
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
