Join Liverpool Bach Collective in St Philip Neri Church, Catharine Street, Liverpool at 6.30pm on Sunday 2 June for their penultimate cantata of the season.
This beautiful church was designed by PS Gilby who was inspired by Byzantine architecture and mosaic interiors. The performance of Cantata no. 5, Wo soll ich fliehen hin? (To where shall I flee?) will celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi as the text dwells on how the wounds and blood of Christ bring salvation to the Christian soul.
