An Iranian woman lives on two planets at once: the one governed by the Ayatollah, and a hidden one of her own, where she and the people she loves dare to be themselves. Told as a diary of collected Super‑8 footage — her own recordings alongside reels bought and rescued from other families — the film builds an alternative history of Iran out of decades of private joy, dancing and quiet defiance, set against the public courage of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement. Winner of the Panorama Audience Award (2nd place) at Berlinale 2024, and Best Documentary at Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, among more than 20 other awards.
