Planting Seeds With Poetry

Join The Reader for a morning or afternoon of seed planting in the Mansion House garden.

Whether you are completely new to gardening or know a thing or two about seeds already, come along to…

Develop your gardening skills
Learn about natural heritage
Explore the important role plants play in our lives
Meet new people and spend time outdoors together

Thanks to support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, this activity is free of charge for anyone to enjoy, please let us know if you book a ticket and can no longer make it.

This event will be cancelled in extreme weather conditions and we recommend wearing appropriate clothes for gardening outdoors. This activity is wheelchair accessible and seats can be provided for those that need them.

Age guidance: 13+.

Wildflowers – 10 April, 11am – 1pm

Sweet peas – 15 May, 11am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pm

Sunflowers – 12 June, 11am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pm
