Social Dance Lab: Latin Roots

Merseyside Social Dance CIC presents Social Dance Lab: Latin Roots — a new beginner-friendly social dance night at Future Yard. Taking place on Friday 17 July, this first event is all about creating a welcoming, low-pressure space to try partner dancing, meet new people and enjoy a social night of music and movement in Birkenhead. The evening will combine relaxed beginner-friendly classes with social dancing afterwards, making it open both to complete newcomers and to dancers who simply want a friendly night out. Inspired by Latin social dance and related partner dance styles, Social Dance Lab is focused on connection, confidence and participation rather than performance, with the longer-term aim of building a welcoming and community-minded social dance space in Merseyside.
