These much-maligned plants are destroyed, trampled on and ignored – but almost every common weed has nutritional and medicinal properties.
They are amongst the most resilient in the plant world, which is why they keep coming back and spreading. So why not admire and share in a little of that strength and robustness? Love your weeds and they will love you back!
The event is held Sudley Walled Garden, 25 July, 10am. Minimum donation £10 for adults, £5 for children, and no donation required for kids under the age of 2. See here for tickets.
All practitioners are donating their time for free, and funds from this event will be in support of the community crowdfunder to fund renewable technology to make their refurbishment of a derelict building low carbon for a greener future.
