Bloom Makers Market – Bluecoat (28 March)

The market is held in the lovely surroundings of Bluecoat, browsing their stalls is ideal for a family day out and to find unique Easter gifts for loved ones.
Merseyside Polonia Family Easter – World Museum (28 March)

Head along and celebrate Easter with World Museum in a fun, relaxed and creative way at their Polonia Family Easter Workshop. They’ll be decorating pisanki – traditional Polish Easter eggs known for their beautiful colours and intricate patterns.
Whether you’re trying it for the first time or already love crafting, this is a chance to get creative, learn something new, and enjoy time together in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This year, they’re inviting everyone to be part of something truly special — helping decorate their giant community Easter egg.
Animal Adventures: Little Liverpool Special – Museum of Liverpool (31 March)

Ready to explore the wild world of animals? Welcome to Animal Adventures. Join this animal-themed Little Liverpool Special combining a visit to the popular Little Liverpool Gallery with extra animal-themed activities for younger visitors to enjoy.
Their Little Liverpool gallery is a hands-on fantasy world, crammed with fun activities especially for children to play and learn. It’s the perfect place to introduce youngsters to the Museum of Liverpool.
Shakespeare, Youth and the Secret to Human Happiness – Shakespeare North Playhouse (1 April)

Explore the magic of Shakespeare and the pursuit of happiness with performer and arts-health advocate Christopher Bailey. Join an intergenerational performance inspired by the Shakespeare canon, followed by a panel with experts from Edge Hill University and Shakespeare North discussing how the arts can support young people’s mental health. This event is free but booking is essential.
The Wiggles – M&S Bank Arena (1 April)

Little ones can sing, dance and Wiggle along this Easter as The Wiggles bring their colourful Tree of Wisdom Spectacular to the stage. Packed with classic favourites like Hot Potato and Rock-A-Bye Your Bear alongside newer hits, this joyful live show promises plenty of high-energy fun and memorable moments for the whole family.
Make It! Craft Workshop – The Atkinson (2 April)

Be inspired by The Atkinson’s museum, gallery and theatre programme in an arts and crafts Make It! Craft Workshop suitable for all the family. There’s something for all ages, with all materials supplied and all for free!
An excellent workshop to explore for the Easter holidays, drop-in any time between 11am – 3pm and get creative. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.
The Little Chameleons Art Club – Williamson Art Gallery (4 April)

Focusing on exploration and shared making rather than finished results, these fun Little Chameleon art sessions help build confidence, communication, and creative thinking in a calm, inclusive setting. Held on the first Saturday of each month, with sessions for 18 months–6 years and up to 8 years.
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live – M&S Bank Arena (4-5 April)

Hot Wheels brings Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live™ Glow-N-Fire to Liverpool this Easter. With huge monster truck stunts, jaw-dropping FMX tricks and the debut of brand-new truck Rhinomite, kids will love seeing favourites like Mega Wrex™, Tiger Shark™ and Bone Shaker™ in action. It’s loud, exciting and guaranteed to be a big hit with the whole family.
Zog – Liverpool Playhouse (7 – 11 April)

Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s classic, feel-good story, Zog is brought to roaring, soaring life in this delightful musical for children. Zog is the keenest dragon in Madam Dragon’s school, he’s also the most accident-prone! The show follows his quest to finally win a gold star with the help of a new friend.
This charming smash-hit production, from the producers of Stick Man and Zog and the Flying Doctors, features joyful songs by Joe Stilgoe and beautiful puppets by Little Angel. A treat for children and adults alike.
Spring Holiday Club – Liverpool Empire Theatre (7 – 10 April)

The Empire Theatre’s Spring Holiday Club is an exciting performing arts activity for young people aged 12-15 where creativity, confidence and talent take centre stage.
Perfect for young performers who love musicals, singing, dancing and acting, this 4-day holiday club is led by experienced industry professionals. Included as part of this activity, you will have the opportunity to go on a guided tour of our historical Grade II listed theatre, as well as watch a matinee performance of 2:22 A Ghost Story.
The Seriously Stupid Show – Unity Theatre (11 April)

Tired of slightly silly shows for kids? Then prepare for the first ever The Seriously Stupid Show! An explosion of mayhem for the whole family – like Vic and Bob mashed with the Muppets!
Expect stupid sketches, bonkers characters, and interactive daftness, delivered by Liverpool’s favourite professional idiots. Don’t just watch, join in! Their grand finale is The Seriously Stupid Talent Show, they believe every child deserves a stage to be stupid on.
