Join artist Sarah Randle (Owner and Designer from Instant Fashion Happiness) and get creative this festive season and take the opportunity to make your own Textiles Festive wreath.

During the workshop you will learn several sewing techniques and be able to design and make your very own unique handmade textile wreath. All materials are included and no previous experience needed!

This event is aimed at young people aged 16-24 years old but over 25 years are welcome to join.

A Sudley Victorian Christmas

Liverpool Makers Bazaar will be hosting 30 talented local makers who will be exhibiting and selling their unique work directly to the public
Entrance is free 11am to 4pm and they will have the delectable @mrsB’sbintageteas on site with her scrumptious cakes.

Join the fun at this festive craft market and find unique handcrafted gifts from over 30 local makers. This indoor/outdoor event takes place at the stunning Calderstones Mansion House in Calderstones Park, Liverpool.

Explore a wide range of products on offer from local small businesses, enjoy live entertainment and delicious food and drinks from The Reader bar and on site cafes.

This is a dog friendly event, with your furry friends welcome in all outdoor spaces 🙂

Located on Regent Street, Make North Docks offers both co-working, private studios and makerspaces in Liverpool. Residents can enjoy a view across the River Mersey, an open-access workshop equipped with tools and the delicious Caffe Riccardo. Make North Docks is open 24 hours for all of their residents.

About your Guide

Your guide on the open days will be Alison Ashton, Makes Community Manager.

Alison is also the creator of Make Mosaic and runs beginners classes in mosaics and other craft techniques across the North West. She has a love of using reclaimed and broken china (as well as other found / unloved objects) to make bespoke pieces. As well as experience in working on educational projects across the UK.

What time does the tour start?

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

On street parking is free but limited to 2 hours. Please let us know if you are a blue badge holder and they can reserve you a space in their small visitor car park. Public transport links are nearby, and the venue is easily accessible on foot from Liverpool City Centre (see our website for more information, we’re located at Make North Docks).

How accessible is the venue?

The workshop is located on the ground floor which provides full accessibility to the premises including toilet provisions. However, some parts of the tour may include stairs. They would advise wheelchair users to contact the workshop provider on the sale of the ticket to arrange a parking bay.

Located on Derby Road in the heart of Huyton Village Centre, Make Huyton Village offers private studios and shared workspace in Knowsley. Make Huyton brings a hive of creativity to the town centre with a high tech Innovation Lab, allowing members of the community to experiment with making and product creation. Make Huyton Village is open 24 hours for all of our residents.

Make’s newest team member, Mia has twenty years experience working in business start-up and project management in Liverpool and London, focused on arts and hospitality.

Previous projects include the cafe bar at FACT, Northern Lights for Baltic Creative and Homebaked Anfield.
