Jen Brister is Reactive – or so she’s been told. Apparently you don’t have to respond to every little thing around you. Finding herself in a constant state of exacerbation at the state of the world and people in general, Brister has been told she needs to chill the hell out. Can Jen find her zen? It seems unlikely to be honest…
Jen is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer, as seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, QI and Mock The Week. Following a sold out 2022 tour, Jen is back on the road with her highly anticipated new show.
Head along to the DaDaFest hub to chat with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society’s Artist Services team about all things Fringe. In 2026, they plan to open a new, year-round artist hub in Edinburgh, and want to hear from Dadafest artists on what they’d like to see happen in this space.
The drop in will allow you to find our more about how to bring a show to the Fringe, and offer an open discussion where the team who want to hear about the things that both excite and challenge you at the Edinburgh Fringe.
This drop in welcomes anyone with an interest in learning more about the Edinburgh Fringe and the different ways to get involved.

DaDaFest International returns 8th-31st March 2025 to celebrate DaDa’s 40th Anniversary and this time they are coming with ‘RAGE: A Quiet Riot’.
DDFI40 will showcase work by disabled artists that captures all shapes and sides of rage. From the internal quiet frustrations and righteous rage, to overt injustice and activism, DDFI40 will explore disability rights, disability arts, access, ableism and ‘Rage’ in an explosion of creativity.
From the creator of the critically acclaimed theatrical drama based on the Hilsborough disaster titled ’97+’, Tom Cain presents his new, one act, crude comedy ‘A Man and His Circumstance’, in his hometown of Southport!
With seven larger than life characters multi-rolled by three actors, this comedy also examines important topics on men’s physical health, encouraging men to look out for the signs on their down belows, in an attempt to dispel the taboo subject on men’s genital health issues. Don’t worry there is no nudity in this show!
This play is recommended for ages 16+ and contains strong language, adult themes and crude humour that some viewers may find offensive.
Working with 15 Square charity, a support group who handle topics mentioned in the play will be in attendance for each performance with a specific support pamphlet for audiences to take away and know there is support out there for any males with health concerns.

This seriously funny comedy night is packed with some of the finest women comedians from the North West and beyond. From established comics to those taking their first steps into comedy, the night is packed with jokes, laughter, spoken word and there might even be a raffle.

This is not a musical. Milton Jones is tone deaf and has no sense of rhythm, but at least he doesn’t make a song and dance about it.
