TV favourite Jake Quickenden heads the stellar cast as Bob in the production.
Jake will be joined by Hollyoaks’ Jessica Ellis as Michelle, Shameless and Coronation Street’s Warren Donnelly as Dad, Britain’s Got Talent’s Siobhan Phillips as Mum, Kay Nicholson as Rita and Jenna Sian O’Hara as Sue.
It’s the story of Rita and Sue, two working class girls from a rundown council estate who are about to finish their final year at school. In their spare time, they earn money by babysitting for married couple Bob and Michelle.

Behind Michelle’s back, Bob embarks on an affair with both Rita and Sue, who take it in turns going with him in his car to the countryside. When Michelle eventually finds out she leaves lothario Bob, who later develops a preference for Rita. The two girls fall out but when Sue ends up in an abusive relationship, the trio are reunited.

Sealskin is an old selkie tale of the sea. Every full moon the Selkies appear, peeling away their seal skin, they dance freely in the moonlight, a fisherman discovers their secret, a skin is stolen and we see the betrayal and consequences that follow, exploring ideas of belonging, otherness and home.
The show combines Tmesis’ trademark playful and highly skilled physicality, puppetry, storytelling, incredible projection design and live original music from acoustic duo Me and Deboe.

Join 20 Stories High for an afternoon to watch The Access Manifesto film, discuss and share ideas, learn about the resources on offer and hear from disabled artists about their experiences in the arts. The aim is to leave the event with the start of an accessibility action plan for your organisation.
They want this day to be an opportunity for learning, collaboration, sharing knowledge and using The Access Manifesto to plan for the future. They also recognise there’s loads of amazing disability/access focused work being created across the city and the region by brilliant local organisations. They think it’s really important to highlight this at their event, so they are really excited to have some special guests attending to share their work and findings.

The Open Table and St Bride’s Christmas carol extravaganza is back Sunday, 15th December 2024!
Open Table meets twice monthly providing a warm and affirming welcome to Liverpool’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) community, friends and family.
The Open Table Liverpool Orchestra and the Liverpool Rainbow Chorus will perform, and they’ll sing loads of your favourite carols with inspiring readings both traditional and contemporary. You’re also invited to a simple meal of soup, bread, mulled wine and mince pies following the service – everyone really is more than welcome!
