Make a Silver Pendant Necklace — Beg...

Handcraft your very own free form necklace using 925 sterling silver in this traditional silversmithing workshop.

Your tutor will help you to make a stunning, sterling silver pendant, complete with an optional Natural Pearl.

You’ll also be given a sterling silver chain at the end of the workshop to complete your necklace making it ready to wear or gift to a loved one!

This workshop is ideal for complete beginners where you will learn to shape the wire, use different files to ensure it is smooth and then use a blowtorch to solder it into the halo shape. You have the option of using their textured hammers to give your desired effect, or you can simply polish the halos to your desired shine.

This workshop will cover many traditional silversmithing techniques including shaping, filing, soldering, hammering, plus many more exciting skills. You’ll make the necklace almost entirely yourself with a little help and guidance from your tutor.

There will be members of the Noctua team at hand throughout this process to support, advise and teach you the skills needed while allowing you to make the pendant independently.

The session is very hands-on. If you use glasses for reading then they recommend you bring them on the day, along with wearing older clothes. You will need to wear closed toe shoes and tie up long hair.

This workshop is suitable for ages 16+

This workshop would normally cost you £60. Thanks to Liverpool BID Company, GPO and Metquarter for sponsoring this workshop in celebration of the festive season.

GPO (Global Provision Outlet) in the heart of Metquarter is where your creative workshop will take place. It’s an exciting new hub of Liverpool’s emerging Food Hall Scene. GPO showcases the best up and coming independent food and drink talent. By booking this workshop, you’ll also receive 10% discount to use on the day at all the GPO vendors.
