There will also be live music from 7pm in the bar from local acoustic performer Stuart Belcher area as well as close up magic from Magic Dan at your table prior to the main show beginning at 8pm.
This second Orchestra dell’Arte Soirée includes great arias, overtures and excerpts from the world of opera. Wagner’s Flying Dutchman and Verdi’s Force of Destiny overtures open each half of the concert.
Composers such as Puccini, Mascagni, Leoncavallo, Bizet, Rossini, Gounod and Tchaikovsky will be featured. They are delighted that their friends from the Mersey Wave Choir will be joining them to sing some of the very best opera choruses.
Bach’s setting of St Matthew’s account of the Passion of Christ features two choruses and two orchestras.
Members of the Collective will be joined by James Botcher as Evangelist and Jonty Ward as Christus.
