Kerry Ellis is the Queen of the West End. From My Fair Lady to We Will Rock You, from Les Miserables to Wicked, in both the West End and on Broadway, she has starred in musical theatre’s biggest roles, making shows her own and earning her numerous awards. Her list of credits is remarkable and also includes Oliver!, Cats, Miss Saigon, Chess, The War Of The Worlds, and Anything Goes, among many others.
She has recorded 4 studio albums, and toured the world both as a solo artist and with her good friend Sir Brian May. And now the star who grew up admiring musical theatre icons Liza Minnelli and Barbra Streisand is looking back on her illustrious career.
Singing songs from the biggest musicals and telling stories about how she came to play roles, this is a unique opportunity to see and hear the West End’s biggest hits in a very intimate setting on a tour of the UK. Don’t miss it.
Imagine a show that tells the story of one of popular music’s most iconic figures in a totally unique way.
In a brand-new show from the creators of ‘Something About Simon’ and ‘Something About George’, Something About Lennon – The John Lennon Story will show you a life that wasn’t always filled with peace and love.
A tale of controversy, genius, politics and protest, Something About Lennon charts John’s story from the breakup of The Beatles to his untimely death in 1980, featuring incredible songs like ‘Woman’, ‘Instant Karma’, and ‘Imagine’, and his story wouldn’t be complete without a few Beatles’ classics along the way.
Actor and musician Daniel Taylor leads the band to share a heartfelt tribute to the inspiration behind a generation, Something About Lennon – The John Lennon Story tells John’s story as you’ve never heard it before.

Charlie Dore’s songs have been recorded by the good and the great including George Harrison, Tina Turner, Celine Dion, Martha Wainwright, Jimmy Nail and Ricky Ross, but her live shows reveal that actually she keeps the best songs for herself.
As one of the UK’s most respected songwriters – creating what is best described as eclectic, contemporary folk with a nod to Americana, Charlie’s relevance and ability to capture the imagination of increasing and new audiences continues unabated. Recent sessions for In Tune (BBC Radio 3), Mark Radcliffe (BBC Radio 2) and Ricky Ross (BBC Radio Scotland) as well as an inclusion on Ken Bruce’s final BBC show further enhanced her status, whilst her current Youtube series “The Jacksons Lane Sessions” have been watched by many.
For her 10th and most recent album Like Animals, she turns away from the expansive science and space metaphors of 2017’s Dark Matter to focus on the internal landscape of the human brain and just what makes us tick. Sewn-through with Dore’s trademark dark wit, lyricism, and distinctive melodic voice, Like Animals explores some of our most basic instincts and how we’re often hi-jacked by our emotional responses.. In 2021 Charlie also released her EP, The Man Who Built Christmas, an unconventional live all-year favourite, proving that a good song isn’t just for Christmas.
