Project Producer – Shakespeare North Theatre, closes 21 Apr

The Producer will develop and nurture relationships with artists, particularly those based in the North West.

Optimising the Artistic Strategy within the Business Plan, and working with teams across Shakespeare North, this role is central in delivering a thriving artistic programme that includes a range of visiting companies, one off events and development opportunities.

This role is ideal for an individual who has a passion for the arts and a finger on the pulse of the creative sector in the North West and surrounding areas.

Working across a range of cultural events and theatre projects at Shakespeare North Playhouse the Project Producer will deliver an innovative programme that celebrates a range of voices, for our audiences in Knowsley and beyond.

The Project Producer will work closely with Shakespeare North Playhouse Learning and Engagement, Technical, Audience and Catering & Events teams to deliver the programme across all three spaces (the Cockpit Theatre, Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden and The Studio).

This creative and administrative role is suitable for a producer with a background of programming, producing small to mid-scale theatre shows, one off events, negotiating and issuing contracts, and working in venues.

M6 Theatre Company are looking for an excellent part-time Participation Manager for a fixed-term contract. They are looking for someone who has skills as a facilitator, theatre maker and project manager.

The Participation Manager will be responsible for delivering their Year 7-10 Youth Theatre and co-facilitating their Act to Shine Youth Theatre for young people with disabilities. The Participation Manager will also deliver one outreach project per term.

Mediator – Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art, closes 2 Apr

Mediators will be experts on Liverpool Biennial 2023 exhibitions and the city, responsible for the day-to-day running and forward facing aspects of the festival. They will support the core LB team in some aspects of delivery of the festival programme by completing administrative tasks.

These roles have been designed to offer paid opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career in the arts. Liverpool Biennial are committed to investing in the skills and talent of those who have a commitment to the Liverpool Visual Arts scene.

Mediators will benefit from a 4-week intensive training programme ahead of the festival launch, where they will learn all about the festival, have opportunity to support installation and planning, and develop key skills through accredited training in First Aid, Fire Safety, Unconscious Bias, Evaluation and more.

Learning Assistant (Casual) – Port Sunlight Village Trust, closes 27 Mar

The Learning Assistant will work as part of the Heritage Directorate.

The Heritage Directorate is responsible for promoting the village’s national and international significance and its relevance to the modern world, championing the conservation of Port Sunlight’s unique heritage, and generating income through the visitor experience and other commercial and fundraising activity.

The Learning Assistant is responsible for delivering formal learning programmes and on occasion informal learning on behalf of Port Sunlight Village Trust (PSVT) to children and young people at key stages 1-4. The majority of activity will take place in Port Sunlight but some off-site visits therefore an element of travel to fulfil the needs of this role will be required. In line with PSVT’s safeguarding policy a full DBS check is a requirement of this role.
