You must develop and maintain a detailed, up to date knowledge base of legislation, funding and good practice. You will also be required to support the delivery, management and evaluation of projects which make it clear how what we delivers makes a real impact to communities.

Candidates for this role should have experience gained within a social housing or community environment coupled with knowledge of the local area and how to work alongside and empower tenants and members of the community to address local issues.

With effective communication skills and the ability to use your initiative, you will have experience of working with community and/or tenants groups to achieve results in Community Development and demonstrate an innovative and creative approach to initiating and sustaining community development projects.

Retail Sales Assistant – Cass Art, closes 30 apr

The Retail Sales Assistants contribute to the success and smooth running of Cass Art stores through providing assistance and excellent customer service to the customers of their Shops.

Effectively working as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand and that of their business partners whose supplies are sold in their stores, to achieve and exceed sales targets set. They are looking for candidates who can be flexible to cover store opening hours including late night opening and early morning shifts as needed.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Participate in the day to day running of Cass Art stores, working as part of a team with all other members of Cass Art.

  • Assist in the receipt of deliveries; unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock, ensuring all stock is safely stored and easily accessible in line with health and safety and merchandising guidelines.
  • Follow the guidelines presented by the Merchandising team, Visual Merchandising and marketing team re: how products should be presented in store.

Experienced Building Manager (Permanent) – Victoria Baths Manchester, closes 1 May

Victoria Baths is a beautiful Edwardian swimming pool and Turkish baths complex, used as an events, community & arts venue and heritage visitor attraction.

Operated by a charitable trust, there are plans for phased building preservation and development work over the next few years, which means there is scope for the hours of this role to increase.

They’re looking for an experienced Building Manager to join their small and friendly team of 10 staff, starting in summer 2022. You will need a thorough understanding of the requirements for work on listed buildings, at least five years relevant experience and preferably a conservation qualification.

The post holder will be responsible for developing and managing any building preservation and repair projects, as well as managing ongoing maintenance, health and safety, security and housekeeping activities.

The position covers a comprehensive range of building management tasks and includes line managing at least two people. You will need experience of managing building projects, procuring maintenance and repair work, relevant health and safety qualifications and excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage a financial budget.
