Project Producer (x2) – The Shakespeare North Playhouse, closes 17 Nov

The Shakespeare North Playhouse is a unique new arts venue, opening in the summer of 2022. It will present a vibrant contemporary cultural and learning programme featuring home co-produced and visiting performances, as well as comedy, music, community work, hire and events and a range of education and training activities.

They are looking for two individuals with least 2 years producing and/or delivery experience of creative learning opportunities to support the Learning Programme for this inspiring new venture, focusing on delivering a programme of events, social engagement and out-reach programmes and delivering opportunities for learning.

The jobholders will report directly to Evonne Bixter, Head of Engagement for Shakespeare North Trust and be a key member of the Culture and Learning team at Shakespeare North Playhouse, led by Laura Collier, Creative Director and Programmer.

The full-time contracted hours of work are 40 per week. However, due to the nature of this role, flexibility will be required particularly around the event programme. Shakespeare North is committed to achieving a happy and effective workforce and will give consideration to any flexible working arrangement, providing that the requirements of the role can be delivered to a high standard.

The full-time salary for this role is circa £23,000 based on relevant skills and experience.

They’re looking for people to join the Production Department as Technicians at the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse.

The Production team deliver and facilitate all of the production and technical requirements of our work on stage:-lighting, sound, video, stage and wardrobe; provide technical support to visiting productions and support off-stage activities around the buildings and out in the community, assisting with skills development for our YEP programme.

They have three full time posts available for multi-skilled technicians (two permanent and 1 fixed term). Access, Participation & Outreach Co-ordinator – Screen & Film School, closes 11 Nov

This role provides a unique opportunity to work with the new Manchester team and to contribute to the successful establishment of the new Screen and Film School college.

Screen and Film School currently enjoys a high profile both in the education sector and within the local and national music industry. The successful candidate will understand the ethos and spirit of BIMM and have the confidence and personality to maintain and build relationships with existing external partners and with new industry contacts in the North West. An awareness of and connections within the Film Industry is essential.

Although in part an outward facing and ambassadorial role, this post also entails regular liaison with all members of the BIMM team to ensure the smooth running of all external and internal events including Masterclasses, Networking Events and Screenings.

They require a team player who can work closely with staff at all levels within the organisation and be supportive and proactive in enabling students to make the most of external opportunities that arise. You will also be required to deliver a set number career development tutorials each week and – if appropriate – may teach on their Diploma and Degree programmes.

This post has a central role in delivering on some of their key targets as laid out in BIMM Group’s Access and Participation Plan. The Access, Participation and Outreach Co-ordinator will have a key role within the outreach department.
