Marketing and Communications Executive – The National Lottery Heritage Fund, closes 12 May ’24

The group are currently recruiting for a full time Marketing and Communications Executive on a permanent contract based in their Birmingham, Leeds or Manchester Office (Hybrid Working).

The primary purpose of this post is to work across different disciplines within marketing and communications, with an emphasis on internal communications. You will work flexibly to support the team to deliver high quality internal and external communications. This provides an excellent opportunity to develop broad marketing and communications experience, and the chance to play a critical delivery role in many of key priorities and projects.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications for line management support, you will also support work across different teams in marketing and communications, focusing for example, on editing the intranet, publishing the staff newsletter, social media and digital engagement, and key actions to develop content which supports their marketing team.

You’ll join the Riverlands Cumbria Project team playing a key role in ensuring the ongoing success of this pioneering project, engaging new audiences, and promoting environmental awareness.

Hours: Part time 22.5 hours per week, we are flexible as to when you work these hours

Salary: FTE £26,832pa Actual £16,099pa

Contract: 2 year fixed term contract

Interviews: 23rd May remote interviews – they would prefer to conduct face to face interviews, however they can accommodate virtual interviews for those who would like to apply but live outside of the area and would relocate for this role.

Location: You’ll be based in the Grasmere regional office, but there are opportunities to work from home and property offices to strike the right balance for both you and the project.

Project Officer – National Trust, closes 12 May ’24

Join the Riverlands Cumbria Project team as our Project Officer and you’ll play a key role in ensuring the ongoing success of this pioneering project. The role will be focused on delivering work to restore our freshwater systems, from weir removals to stage 0 river restoration and everything in between.

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday with occasional weekends. We are flexible as to when you work these hours.

Salary: £30,966pa

Contract: This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months

Are you interested in education and community projects? You could be our new Project Producer and Facilitator for Learning and Engagement.

The Project Producer and Facilitator for Learning and Engagement will plan and deliver a broad range of learning opportunities for education providers, families and community groups. This role will specifically lead on producing and delivering multi-disciplinary workshops, projects and events that introduce participants to reading, writing and oracy, inspiring our audiences to develop their own work and providing opportunities for artist development. They will produce exhibitions and learning opportunities related to our programme, building and maintaining relationships with relevant organisations and exploring how they could work in partnership with Shakespeare North Playhouse to provide exciting opportunities for audiences.

We are looking for an individual who can support the Learning Programme, focussing on creating events, social engagement and out-reach programmes and delivering opportunities for learning.

They will report directly to the Head of Engagement for Shakespeare North Playhouse. They will also work closely with all teams across the organisation including Visitor Experience, Technical and Production, Producing, Marketing and Audience Development.
