Mosh Tots Easter Special

Sunday 24th March at Mosh Tots is Future Yard’s super egg-citing Easter Special!

Hop along in fancy dress for some great live music from the Mosh Tots Band playing some Disney classics, the Beatles, and more. After the show, there will be a puzzling egg hunt, Easter basket making, and other fun Easter crafts for the family to enjoy!

Easter Crafts Event

Join the team for an afternoon of Easter crafts and fun. Kids get to be creative making Easter crafts, have some fun and treats.

Saturday 23rd March, 1pm-3pm, £5.00 admission.

Make it! Easter Egg Painting

Artist Dot Rodgers will show you how to paint your own version of a Ukrainian Easter egg. A pysanka (писанка) is usually decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs.

Display your pysanka in a window at home to show you #StandWithUkraine.

All materials provided. Children must be supervised at all times. Recommended age 6+.

Free drop in event. Call in between 11 am – 3 pm.

Easter Family Activities at RIBA North...

Fill your Easter holidays with free creative activities for the whole family

Join the team for a free hands-on creative workshop for families of all ages at Tate Liverpool + RIBA North! Create your own imaginative moving characters and bring your unique creations to life in our shadow puppet theatre.

You can also experiment with zoetrope animations – a spinning cylinder that blurs different images together when it spins so the pictures look like they’re moving! Use animations created by illustrator Laura-Kate Chapman and design your own moving creations to use with their zoetropes!

Their free Art Games booklets are also available to pick up and take home.

Feeling hungry? Drop in to their café to enjoy their special kids lunch deal, available during the school holidays and weekends. This includes a sandwich, packet of crisps, piece of fruit and a drink for £6.95.

Supersized Easter Egg Decoration works...

Join World of Glass for this kids workshop aimed at ages 3 – 6 years old.

Your child will be decorating a supersized image of an egg using water spray as the glue and colourful shaped acetate for the decoration! An absolute joy to learn more about colour shape and pattern and an opportunity to take a photograph of your budding artist with their first public artwork.

All tickets are for children only with 2 Adult spaces to accompany each child.

Please note: you won’t be able to take your artwork away with you.

Babies at the waterfront

Head down to Liverpool’s waterfront for a special session for their youngest visitors at the Museum of Liverpool.

Join a member of their friendly team in an opportunity to play, discover and meet other carers and parents in our award-winning museum.

Babies at the waterfront sessions take place on the first Wednesday of each month. Drop in between 10.15 and 11.15am.

Pitter Patter Painters

Pitter Patter Painters is a messy, fun-packed workshop for very young children aged 3 and under.

Within this sensory experience, our youngest visitors can enjoy exploring a variety of materials ranging in texture and consistency. The session allows babies and toddlers to learn about materials through play, with toys and tools provided to navigate these.

Pitter patter has limited capacity and spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis with tickets available one month prior. £5.00 per toddler with maximum of two accompanying adults.

Little Liverpool quieter session

This session offers their youngest visitors the chance to enjoy a Little Liverpool session in a supportive environment with reduced ambient sound. They will have sensory resources and ear defenders available.

These drop in sessions are for those aged under 6 years and their grown-ups. They are scheduled for the last Sunday of each month.

Little Liverpool, their special children’s gallery, is crammed with hands on activities. It is the perfect place to introduce little ones to the Museum of Liverpool. Prepare to have fun!

Admission to Little Liverpool is by a free timed ticket, which you can collect from the welcome desk on the day of your visit.

Parade of the bees: junk drumming

Make your own instruments out of junk materials to create a buzz at their Parade of the Bees at 3pm.

Suitable for children aged 3+.

Tickets cost £2 per child.

Paper wildflower workshop

Create your own wildflower inspired by the World Museum meadow

Did you know that the plants we think of as pesky weeds are some of the most important wildflowers, acting as food sources for bees and pollinators?

Make your own wildflowers using sustainable materials in their 45 minute family workshop, inspired by their wildflower posy at the entrance to World Museum.

Session times: 10.30am, 11.30am and 1.15pm , 2.15pm and 3.15pm

Tickets are £2 per child.

Suitable for children aged 7+
